Salt Lake City, UT: Mazza- Middle Eastern Cuisine

Mazza- 1515 South 1500 East (15th and 15th) Salt Lake City, UT

3.9 out of 5 Yum. All three pigs have been happy both times dining at Mazza. Mazza serves Middle Eastern Cuisine (one of Papa’s favorites) and they take care to serve high quality traditional food. We went there once with just us, and the second time with friends. The Baba Ganooj and Baklawa Square have been our favorites so far and the biggest disappointment was the Fried Kibbeh. They have ‘plates’ and they have more lunch style items where you can choose it in a sandwich (pita), over rice, or a salad option. They also offer a kids menu which is nice, but we haven’t tried it, Adrian has always split our dishes. He is a big fan of pita and dipping it.

The traditional Schwarma is dish we have re-odered (along with the Baba Ganooj). They also special order in beer from the middle east, which is quite tasty. We love being able to walk here and find the staff friendly and eager to please. I would guess if Kevin worked closer to home, we would meet for lunch here. He is always waiting for a reason/excuse to go back!
